Butwal, Now, the revenue and renewal fee of the vehicle can be paid from the citizen app. It has been informed with the official launch of the app on Sunday.
Necessary system is being set up in the transport offices under the Department of Transport Management so that the revenue and renewal fee of the transport can be paid from the citizen app. Now the system will be connected directly to the citizen app.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has stated that the work of connecting the transport service to the citizen app has reached the final stage and this service can be used in the next few days. For this, preparations are being made to connect the payment service provider licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank to the citizen app.
In addition to government revenue, third party insurance is also mandatory for vehicle renewal. It has been said that arrangements will be made for online payment to pay the insurance amount.
At the same time, it is expected that the hassle of the citizens to renew their vehicles will end. At present, when there is no compulsion to go to the transport office and look for old dhadda, the service recipients are forced to suffer and waste their time along with irregularities.
If this service is available in the citizen app, the amount of penalty to be paid for not renewing the vehicle on time will also be saved.
