The government on Friday unveiled a beta version of the Citizen app to provide all possible government services. The app has been made public with the objective of not having to go to government offices for government services as much as possible. It has attracted the attention of the users.
More than 10,000 people have downloaded this app in a single day since it was made public. The app tops the PlayStation social category.
There have been mixed reactions on social media after the app went public in the beta version. Many are calling the app a positive step and suggesting to make it user-friendly and add more features.
Remembering different logins and passwords for different apps is a different challenge nowadays. Ending this kind of problem, the government has brought a citizen app to provide all public services from one app as much as possible.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has announced that more than 40 of the 64 services provided by the local government will be available in this app. You don't even have to fill in or upload any details in the Citizen app.
It is designed to automatically apply for the relevant government services at the click of a button. It automatically verifies your verified details with various government agencies.
As a result, there is no possibility of alteration or reversal. Government services in the first phase and semi-government services in the second phase will be included in this app.
It is expected to be of great help to the citizens, good governance, reduction of corruption and reduction of government operating expenses.
